Thank you so much for all of your encouraging comments and support! We are so very excited and found out a few days ago that things might move along faster than we first thought. Due to our son being from Warsaw, our agency suspects that we will travel this summer! We were also told that we only need to make one trip. So the date we are waiting for, will be the date of our "one and only" trip! This was great news, but at the same time took us by surprise. We are now in full "mommy and daddy"mode trying to get everything together before the due date arrives. When the 3-5 months turns into 1-2 months it can make you a little crazy. It is a good crazy though and we certainly aren't complaining! We are keeping busy with updating fingerprints, getting together that last (big) payment, and are even starting to pack. The thought of having a son is finally sinking in and simple things like putting his clothes in his dresser gives us a shot of pure joy and adrenaline. It's hard to explain, but those of you who have been there know exactly what we mean! Thanks again for all your love and support! It is so great being able to share all of this with you! We will keep you posted on our updates and plan to post his picture real soon. It's so hard to believe that it might be this summer! YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Congratulations! We had the two trip process and it was so hard. The one trip should making the waiting for your date much easier - since it is THE date. There may end up being a crew of us in Warsaw for the summer, at least for the paperwork phase.
I am also in packing mode since we were told that in a week we may get just a few days notice to travel:) No complaints here on no notice - I just want the date. You've got to be just so excited. Have fun, maybe we will be able to meet up in Warsaw - with our kids!
Wonderful news! I'm so excited that your little guy will be in your arms soon! That is great about one trip. I loved our first trip with our little girl, but waiting for the second one is heart wrenching. We're hoping to be in Poland in the next month or two and maybe we'll see you there!
Congrats!!! We were also a one trip family. It was nice to only travel once. We had 2 weeks notice to travel, so be ready :-) Enjoy this exciting time!!!
Hello! This is fantastic news! What do you pack? I have read about bringing gifts and such for those who have cared for your child and replacing items at the orphange that your child may take away - what are your thoughts?

I'm jealous - you'll get to be in Warsaw in the summer. We adopted there this winter. This FREEZING winter. So happy for you! I also find it funny that you started your blog the day after your son was born!!!

You are sooooo lucky that you only have to make one trip! If it weren't for going back and getting our children we would not be too anxious to make that trip again! The flight was long.
Will the trip be longer since the two are being combined into one?
