We made it, but not without a whole lot of tiredness! There's nothing like going 24 hours without sleep! We were so wound up, that we didn't sleep a wink on the plane! We feel so blessed, that everything went smooth! Praise God! Thank you for your prayers! As soon as we arrived at the exit of the Warsaw airport, we met our facilitator! She took us right to our hotel (very nice resort, will post pictures later) so that we could get unpacked and get some rest. Tomorrow she will take us to meet our son (Yeah!) where we will be briefed by the orphanage director, doctors, social workers, etc. about Bartek (BJ). Then they will bring him out to us! We will then go and see him everyday until Friday. Finally, we will be able to take him to our apartment in Warsaw! Please keep us in your prayers! Tomorrow is a big day!

- September (09)-Welcome Home BJ! September 12
- August (09)-Gotcha Day: August 17! Adoption became finalized!
- JULY(09)-Received travel call on July 6. Initial time frame before we left, 4 days! AHHH! Later become 2 weeks! We left on July 26!
- JUNE (09)-Waiting for travel call.
- MAY (09)-Received referral! Accepted!
- APRIL (09)-Waiting! Searching for loans and grants!
- MARCH (09)-Received first referral. Did not accept.
- FEBRUARY (09)-Waiting some more!
- JANUARY (09)-Just Waiting!
- DECEMBER (08)-Dossier turned into Poland! Yeah!
- NOVEMBER (08)-Finished and turned in dossier! Raised enough $ to pay dossier and translation fee! Praise God!
- OCTOBER (08)-Finished apostilling everything for dossier. Getting pictures together of family and home.
- SEPTEMBER (08)-Received $4,000 grant from Saohannah's Hope! Yea! Sent out support letters to friends and family.
- AUGUST (08)-Apostilled home study with North Carolina and Birth Certificates with California. Received $2,500 Matching Grant from Lifesong! Praise God!
- JULY (08)-Received CIS Approval! Yeah! Waiting on grant approvals. Sending in dossier documents to be apostilled.
- JUNE (08)-Applying for grants/loans. Still waiting on CIS.
- MAY (08)-Started applying for grants. Are waiting for CIS approval.
- APRIL (08)-Were fingerprinted for our CIS document. Completed home study, Yeah!
- MARCH (08)-Received acceptance letter from SMIA. Turned in agreement. Turned in I-600A (CIS) document. Continue home study meetings.
- FEBRUARY (08)-Began home study procedures. Switched to Saint Mary International Adoptions/Poland. Turned in application.
- JANUARY (08)-Phone call from CHI, needed to find our own social worker, found and went with LSS. Referral times for Kazakhstan had increased and were unstable. Possible switch to Russia (24 months referral time). Much prayer this month. Began searching for other options!
- NOVEMBER & December (07)-Completed fingerprint requirements, still collecting home study papers. Still waiting for home study to begin.
- OCTOBER (07)-Received approval letter from CHI. Started collecting home study papers.
- SEPTEMBER (07)-Turned application into CHI.

Wonderful news to hear that you made it! All we can say is WOW!! The excitement we feel for you is so great. I have been meaning to ask....Did you bring a laptop with you and/or how are you making posts? We have been thinking about purchasing a laptop, but don't know if it would be to much to carry over there.

We've been thinking about you this past week. If your last few days are anything like ours, you are probably sleep deprived and exhausted, to say the least, but head over heels at the same time! Hope BJ is doing ok with the transition. It has been confusing for Klaudia, but she is a trooper. Hope all is well! We'll be in Warsaw after court on the 11th and hopefully see you soon. :)
